Sonya Stamper, M.S., NCC

Sonya believes that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to work through life’s challenges and reconnect with their strengths. With over a decade of experience in social services, she brings compassion, understanding, and a wealth of knowledge to her work with clients. She believes that culture plays a major role in understanding of self and loves working with BIPOC clients.

She specializes in working with teens (ages 13 and up), adults, and couples who may be navigating issues like anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, major life transitions, stress, and relationship concerns. Sonya understands that these challenges can feel overwhelming, and she partners with clients to explore healthier perspectives and new possibilities for growth.

Drawing on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing, Sonya tailors her work to each individual. She believes in meeting clients where they are, helping them feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

At the heart of Sonya’s work is a genuine commitment to helping clients build resilience, strengthen self-confidence, and develop the tools they need to thrive—both in their relationships and within themselves.
